Dr. Paul Fotek

    Dr. Fotek is a native of Poland but he grew up in Toronto, Canada. He went back to Poland where he earned his D.M.D. in 2002 from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, graduating in the top 5 percent of his class. He practiced general dentistry in Poland until he decided to move back to North America.
    In 2007, Dr. Fotek received his Certificate in Periodontology and Master of Science degree shortly thereafter from the University of Michigan. During his residency at the University of Michigan, Dr. Fotek was a Clinical and Surgical Instructor in the Dental Clinic and later was awarded a teaching fellowship which he completed at the end of his residency. He also held an appointment as a surgical instructor for General Dentists.
    Dr. Fotek has always strived to surpass his educational requirements. While at Michigan, he was trained to perform Wilckodontics® and completed the Misch International Implant Institute surgical course. He obtained his Michigan dental license in 2006, Florida dental license in 2008 and a Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology in 2007 and is licensed to perform Conscious Sedation.
    His active participation in local and international dental societies includes the Central Palm Beach County Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology and the International Team for Implantology. He is also a published author on the periodontal-dental-implant interrelationship in several dental journals.
    Dr. Fotek’s areas of special interest encompass periodontal and implant related esthetics. However, despite his extensive focus on clinical dentistry, Dr. Fotek tries to understand the patient’s problem from their perspective and offer solutions.
